Mission Statement

The Indiana Water Monitoring Council is a network of water professionals and volunteers dedicated to communication, coordination, and sharing of monitoring information to support the stewardship of Indiana waters.

The Water Monitoring Council is comprised of General and Affiliate Membership, which is open to any interested individual, organization, or agency working in water monitoring. The Membership is led by a diverse, 19-member Board of Directors. This board is comprised of local, state, and federal agencies; non-government organizations such as local watershed initiatives and statewide non-profits as well as private consultants and industry representatives. There are active subcommittees, put in place by the Board, working on projects to further the mission of the Council.
