Tippecanoe River Watershed Regional Meeting

Tippecanoe River Watershed Regional Meeting will be held on October 22, 2009 from 1-4 pm at the Fulton County Library in Rochester, Indiana.

Hosts for this meeting will be the Tippecanoe River Watershed Alliance have reserved a meeting room at the Fulton County Library in Rochester, Indiana.

The Draft Agenda is:

1.       Introductions and watershed group updates.

2.       Presentation by Mike Tosick on Tippecanoe Watershed status, evaluation, and future possibilities. Mike was with the US Fish and Wildlife Service where he worked with Tom Simon on a Tippecanoe River evaluation. He also worked on the Natural Resources Damage Program – White River Restoration. Mike is a policy and natural resource manager.

3.       Discussion with Mike Tosick about regional opportunities in the Tippecanoe Watershed.

4.       What next?

Lunch at Jarrety’s Place before the meeting, 11:30 am, is an option for those that are available. (Buy your own lunch; menu items are about $8 to $12 each). Please RSVP to Linda Schmidt (IDEM Watershed Specialist: lschmidt@idem.in.gov) if you plan to meet us for lunch before the meeting.
